Houston, TX (6/15/2021) – A person was killed in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in northeast Houston.
The accident happened just east of the Eastex Freeway around noon near Homestead and Winfield Road. A driver lost control, went off the road, and struck a guardrail on a bridge north of the railroad tracks.
A passenger was killed as a result of the wreck.
Additional details remain unknown.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
