Armstrong County, TX (3/26/2021) – A passenger was fatally killed in a single-vehicle accident on Friday.
The accident happened near Claude on U.S. Highway 287 when a Hyundai Elantra failed to drive in a single lane and crashed into a concrete culvert.
The passenger, 43-year-old Stefani Patterson, was killed at the scene.
The driver fled.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
