Pedestrian Killed after Vehicle Accident in Baytown

Baytown, TX (9/6/2020) – A man is now dead after being struck by a vehicle in Baytown on Sunday evening.

The accident happened around 8:20 p.m. on Texas 73 near Englin Road. Craig Strange, 39, was headed eastbound on Texas 73 when he veered off the road and crashed his Lexus. He got out of the vehicle and walked into the roadway when he was hit by a man, 31, driving a pickup truck.


Strange was killed at the scene.


The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
