Pedestrian Killed by Hit-and-Run by an 18-Wheeler

Waco, TX (3/27/2021) – A man was tragically hit and killed by a semi-truck on Saturday in Waco.

The accident happened on South Interstate 35 around 1 a.m. Craig Creel Steward, 36, was hit by an 18-wheeler that fled the scene after the collision.

Steward was pronounced dead at the scene.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
