Houston, Texas (April 19, 2023) – A man was struck and killed by an out-of-control vehicle in the early morning on a first date.
Police say a speeding vehicle lost control and jumped onto the sidewalk nearby, striking and killing a pedestrian. A woman who was with the man reported to police that she had been with him on a first date nearby.
Three people were reported to be in the vehicle at the time of the crash. All three were taken to a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
