Dallas, Texas (September 24, 2022) – The Dallas Police Department is looking for two drivers who hit a pedestrian in the 3000 block of Fort Worth Avenue, near Westmoreland Road in West Oak Cliff.
The pedestrian was identified as having been in the roadway, not the crosswalk, which is where the first vehicle struck the victim. The first vehicle fled the scene and has yet to be identified.
A second vehicle, which has been identified as a red Chevy Cruz, also fled the scene following the collision. A witness had stopped to try to assist the victim.
The victim was pronounced dead by officials at the scene of the accident.
The accident is under investigation by the Dallas Police Department.
