Smith County, TX (4/29/2021) – One person was killed in an auto-pedestrian wreck Thursday morning in northern Smith County.
The accident happened around 5:45 a.m. on State Highway 155 north of County Road 351. A Ford F-450 was traveling on SH-155 and struck a pedestrian who was walking on the road.
The pedestrian was killed at the scene. He was identified as Stephan Ernest Nipper, 41.
The driver of the Ford was not injured.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
