Midland County, TX (1/24/2021) – One person is dead after a crash occurred Sunday morning in Midland.
The accident happened around 2:30 a.m. at West CR 140 and CR 1200 when a driver lost control of their Toyota Camry then struck a dumpster and a fence.
A passenger in the car, 28-year-old Noemi Gomez, was killed at the scene.
The driver, 26-year-old Armando Gonzalez Jr., and a second passenger were not injured.
Gonzalez was taken to Midland County Jail and charged with Intoxication Manslaughter.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
