Houston, TX (7/11/2021) – A person was killed in a fatal two-vehicle accident early Sunday in southwest Houston.
The accident happened on the feeder road at Southwest Freeway and Bissonnet around 3 a.m. when a driver sped through a red light and crashed into an SUV. The impact sent the car into a concrete pillar.
The driver of the car was killed at the scene.
A passenger inside the car was taken to the hospital. They remain in stable condition.
The driver and passenger inside the SUV were also hospitalized and were stable.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
