Person Killed, Two Injured after Crash near COTA

Austin, TX (8/14/2021) – One person is dead Saturday morning after a crash near the Circuit of the Americas. 

The accident happened around 5:15 a.m. when a car crashed into a gate. 

One person was killed at the scene.

Two other people were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
