Pilot Injured in Single-Engine Plane Crash

Manvel, TX (12/10/2020) – A pilot was injured after a single-engine plane crash occurred on Thursday in Manvel.

The accident happened near Oil Field Road at a field. A single-engine Luscombe 8A struck a power line and crashed while landing at Wolfe Air Park around 2 a.m. 

The pilot was left injured.

The FAA and National Transportation Safety are currently investigating the crash. 

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
