Plane Crash Left Two Abilene Men Killed

Abilene, TX (11/12/2020) – Two men from Abilene were killed in a plane crash on Thursday, November 12.

The crash happened around 1 p.m. in a field across Texas 66 from Rockwall’s municipal airport. A single-engine Cessna 182 crashed after colliding into a power line.

Two men – 75-year-old Donald L. Wehmeyer and 67-year-old Curtis G. Robertson Jr., were killed at the scene.

The Federal Aviation Administration is currently investigating the incident. 

If the investigation reveals that something faulty from the plane was occurring at the time of the crash, the manufacturer of the aircraft can be held responsible if you can demonstrate the product was defective.
