Odessa, TX (7/9/2020) – A teenage girl is now dead after being involved in a two-vehicle wreck Tuesday night in Odessa.
The accident happened at Loop 338 and Yukon Road around 8:30 p.m. The accident involved a Chevrolet Spark and a GMC Sierra. The Spark was headed west on Yukon as the Sierra was headed north on Loop 338. According to DPS, the Spark failed to yield the right of way and was hit by the Sierra.
The driver of the Spark, who was identified as 17-year-old Rayanne Severson, was taken to Medical Center Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the pickup was not hurt in the accident.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
