Marshall, TX (7/11/2021) – A two-vehicle wreck left a man killed Sunday morning in Marshall.
The accident happened around 11:49 a.m. on Victory Drive. Edwin O’Neal Wilbert, 66, was driving his Buick Century west while Katrail Ray Flanagan, 24, was also headed west in his Hyundai Santa Fe. The Santa Fe struck the Century’s rear, which caused both vehicles to spin out of control.
Wilbert was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Flanagan was taken to CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Medical Center for his injuries.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
