Bryan, TX (10/29/2020) – A Bryan school bus was involved in a multi-vehicle wreck Thursday morning.
The wreck occurred around 6:38 a.m. on US 190. The school bus was stopped with its lights activated to pick up a child when it was struck from behind by a tractor-trailer. The truck also hit the back of an SUV stopped next to the school bus.
As a result of the wreck, a 13-year-old female student was taken to the hospital in Bryan with minor injuries.
The bus driver was also taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The SUV driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital by family members.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured and was given a citation by troopers.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
