Cypress, TX (3/4/2021) – A school bus was involved in a crash Thursday morning in Harris County, leaving multiple students injured.
The accident happened near West Road and Barker Cypress when the school bus turned left out of the Windhaven neighborhood and collided with a pickup truck. The bus then flipped onto its side.
According to Cy-Fair ISD, out of the 27 students on the bus, several were treated for minor injuries.
EMS evaluated 11 patients in total, including 2 adults and 9 children, according to the Cy-Fair Fire Department.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
