Several Hospitalized in Car Wreck

Van, TX (10/8/2020) – A car wreck in Van left several people hospitalized with life-threatening injuries Thursday night.

The accident happened at the intersection of FM 314 and FM 1995 around 10 p.m. The VFD used the Jaws of Life equipment to free occupants from the two vehicles involved in the crash. 

The victims, including at least one child, were taken to a hospital in Tyler for treatment. Another child was taken to a hospital in Dallas on Friday morning. 

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
