Several Multi-Car Pile-Ups Occupy Austin

Austin, TX (1/11/2021) – Several multi-car pile-ups around Austin left multiple people injured due to snow and ice. 

A five-vehicle crash occurred at Cesar Chavez Street and MoPac Expressway, and two incidents happened at the westbound ramp of N. SH 45, which involved 13 vehicles.

Another accident occurred at East Howard Lane and Dessau Road when one vehicle rolled and caused another vehicle to crash into a pedestrian. 

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accidents and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
