Severe Injuries Left a Man Hospitalized in Bryan

Bryan, TX (7/4/2021) – A woman caused severe injuries after driving under the influence on Highway 30.

The accident happened near the Brazos-Grimes County line just before 7 p.m. when Sharese Mitchell drove her car into oncoming traffic. She struck a SUV, sending it into a ditch. 

The driver of the SUV suffered a severe leg injury as a result of the wreck. 

Two children that were in the car with Mitchell were sent to the hospital.

Mitchell was arrested for felony and intoxication assault and booked into the Brazos County Detention Center.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
