Johnson County, TX (5/27/2020) – Two teenage girls are now dead after being involved in a single-vehicle wreck with their mother.
The accident happened in Johnson County Sunday afternoon when mother Barbara Underwood veered off County Road 604 and hit a small bridge. The guardrail impaled the front of their Ford Escape.
Hannah Underwood and her sister Haley Underwood, both 17, were killed at the scene.
Barbara Underwood remains in serious condition at John Peter Smith Hospital.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
