El Paso, TX (5/12/2020) – One person was killed and two were left injured Sunday after a single-vehicle wreck in El Paso.
The accident happened around 8:00 p.m. According to police 39-year-old driver Nathaniel West drove his Taurus into a cement pillar after hydroplaning across a puddle of water at high speeds.
West and the other two occupants of the vehicle, 25-year-old Amber Torres and a 7-month-old child, were taken to University Medical Center.
Torres was pronounced dead at UMC.
West and the infant sustained minor injuries.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
