Houston, TX (Aug. 19, 2022) – Lawrence Earl Thomas has been arrested in connection with the Sept. 2021 hit-and-run death of Martha Medina, a 71-year-old grandmother. Thomas is the third person arrested in connection for Medina’s death.
Medina was killed in a hit-and-run after suspects had snatched her purse. The suspects proceed to strike Medina with their vehicle, dragging her under the car.
Prior to Thomas’ arrest, police previously arrested Andrew Williams and Felton Ford. Williams is being charged with the capital murder of Medina. Ford is facing charges of engaging in organized criminal activity.
