Montague County, TX (3/27/2021) – A teenage girl was killed and five other teenagers were injured in a single-vehicle wreck Saturday afternoon.
The accident happened on FM 1759 west of Morris Road around 4 p.m. Reports say the six teens were in a pickup truck that drove slightly off the road as it approached traffic. The truck overcorrected then it plunged into a ditch.
No one was wearing a seatbelt.
A teenage girl was killed as a result of the wreck.
The other teens were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
