Harrison County, TX (10/8/2021) – A crash left a teenager dead and another injured Friday evening.
The accident happened around 10 p.m. when a Ford Expedition headed west on Interstate 20 traveled into the center median, overcorrected to the right, went into a side skid, struck a culvert and rolled.
A 17-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 16-year-old was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
