Hamilton, TX (7/25/2021) – A teenager was killed and another driver was injured in a head-on collision over the weekend.
The accident happened on State Highway 16 when a Ford vehicle left the southbound lane and crossed into the path of a Toyota vehicle.
The driver of the Ford, 18-year-old Kenli Parish Riney, was killed at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota was transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple by Hamilton EMS with serious injuries.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
