Teenager Killed in Deadly Crash in Abilene

Abilene, TX (9/21/2021) – A fatal crash left a teenager killed Tuesday afternoon in Abilene.

The accident happened after 12 p.m. when a Honda Civic headed westbound on Southwest drive rear-ended a Jeep Cherokee. The Civic then collided with a Chevy Silverado, and a Ford F-150 rear-ended the Chevy.

The passenger in the Honda, 18-year-old Chandler Sikes, was killed as a result of his injuries.

The driver of the Honda was taken to the hospital. 

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
