Teenager Killed, Others Injured in One-Vehicle Crash

Waxahachie, TX (8/7/2021) – A one-vehicle crash left multiple teenagers injured Saturday night. 

The crash happened at 122 Shoreside Trail when a silver Honda Accord headed east failed to navigate a right curve and left the roadway, striking a culvert. 

The driver, a 16-year-old female, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Five other passengers in the vehicle suffered serious injuries and were taken to various hospitals. They were identified as a 16-year-old female, a 17-year-old female, a 16-year-old male and a 15-year-old male, and a 17-year-old male passenger.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
