San Benito, TX (4/5/2021) – A teenager was killed and three others were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash Monday evening in San Benito.
The accident happened around 8 p.m. on F.M. 732 near Resaca Llena Drive. A Lincoln town car was headed northbound when it lost control and crashed into a Chevrolet Silverado headed southbound.
The driver and two passengers of the Lincoln were sent to the hospital. One of the passengers, a 16-year-old teenager, later died. Three days later, a 15-year-old teen that was taken to the hospital passed away.
The driver of the Chevrolet was also sent to the hospital, where they remain in stable condition.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
