Teenager Left Injured in Fatal Train Accident

Falls County, TX (8//2020) – A teenager is now injured after colliding with a train.

The accident happened at Highway 6 at County Road 116 around 6:30 a.m. A 16-year-old high school student was on the way to practice when he crossed train tracks just as a train was coming. He attempted to beat the train across the tracks.

The high school student now remains in critical condition at McLane’s Children’s Hospital.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
