Dighton, KS (6/8/2020) – A man from Texas is now dead after being involved in an accident on a western Kansas highway.
The accident happened on K-4, north of Dighton around 9 a.m. Wednesday. Charles Twa, 55, of Sabinal, Texas, was locking a rear steering pin onto the trailer. Twa was still under the trailer when the vehicle lead gave the all-clear to move the vehicle.
Twa died at the scene.
Investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
