Texas Man Killed in Louisiana Crash

Pearl River, LA (4/7/2020) – A Texas man was killed Monday morning after a deadly crash in Pearl River, Louisiana.

The crash happened just after midnight on Highway 11 at North Second Avenue in St. Tammany Parish. According to troopers, a Toyota Tundra, driven by 54-year-old Teddy E. Torrance of Slidell, was traveling north on US 11 when at the same time, Michael A. Rogers, 29, ran into the northbound travel lane and was struck by the Tundra.

Rogers was pronounced dead at the scene.

Torrance was not injured during the crash.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
