Austin, TX (12/16/2019) – Three people are now hospitalized after a crash on I-35 sent a vehicle over a guardrail and fell 20 feet Thursday evening in Austin.
The incident happened on the southbound I-35 service road at 290. Police say the driver crashed into another vehicle and then fell 20 feet over the guardrail.
The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 60s, that fell was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center for potentially serious injuries.
Two women in their 60s were also transported to a hospital for treatment of non-serious injuries.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
The investigation will reveal what exactly caused the vehicle to roll over and plummet 20 feet below to the ground.
