Porter, TX (11/2/2020) – An infant and two additional victims were injured in a fire caused by a gas explosion on Monday.
The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. on Riverwalk Drive. A gas explosion occurred in an outdoor kitchen located in the backyard of a home, causing a fire to occur. A gas oven may have played a role.
Three people – a 46-year-old, a 16-year-old, and a 16-month-old – were injured and sent to Memorial Hermann burn center.
Investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
