El Paso, TX (1/20/2020) – Three El Paso residents are now dead after being involved in a three-vehicle crash Friday evening.
The accident happened in El Paso on Hercules Avenue between Mercury and Leo Streets. Billy Ray Ethridge Jr. was driving his sports car at high speeds on Hercules Avenue when he rear ended 23-year-old Daniel Parra’s Chevrolet Cruze and caused him to crash into a tree. That’s when Ethridge drifted across both eastbound lanes and collided head-on into the vehicle that contained 76-year-old Pascual Garcia and 72-year-old Carolina Garcia-Amaya.
Ethridge, and the Garcias were killed at the scene.
Daniel Parra and his two passengers, 23-year-old Sergio Zarate and 25-year-old John Milam Jr., suffered only minor injuries.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
