Austin, TX (2/4/2020) – Three people are dead after a fatal two-vehicle wreck Saturday evening.
The accident occurred in north Williamson County around 7:10 p.m. on State Highway 195. According to DPS, a Ford Mustang was headed southbound when it left the roadway, crossed the median, and struck a Hyundai Elantra going north.
The driver of the Hyundai was killed at the scene. He was identified as 45-year-old Monchai Chatsuwan.
The driver of the Mustang, as well as a passenger in the backseat, were also killed at the scene. The driver of the Mustang was identified as Anthony Nevelle Peaks Jr., 21. The passenger was identified as 19-year-old Christopher Hogan.
Another passenger in the Mustang was taken to Seton Medical Center.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
