Three People Injured after Crash in Denton County

Denton, TX (9/18/2021) – Three people were injured after a crash Saturday night in Denton County.

 The accident happened on State Highway 114 near Justin around 10:00 p.m. A Fiat was headed eastbound in the westbound lanes of the highway and struck a Dodge pickup headed west in the left lane. The Dodge was forced to hit an Infinity that was in the right lane. The Fiat went into the right lane and struck a Hyundai Elantra head-on. 

The driver of the Fiat, 50-year-old Juan A. Fermin, was taken to the hospital for severe injuries.

The driver of the Hyundai, 23-year-old Emilee D. Caraway, and their passenger suffered injuries and were taken to Baylor Scott and White in Grapevine. 

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
