Three People Killed, One Injured in Fatal Wreck in Sabine County

Sabine County, TX (1/16/2021) – Three people were killed and one was injured in a three-vehicle wreck in Sabine County Saturday night.

The accident happened around 7:05 p.m. on State Highway 21 just east of the Pendleton Bridge near the Louisiana border. A Toyota passenger car failed to yield the right-of-way and was struck by a GMC pickup truck headed east. The GMC then went into the westbound lane and was struck by a Chevrolet pickup truck.

The driver of the GMC, 28-year-old Vanessa Davis, and her passengers, 38-year-old Jason Davis and 48-year-old Ralph Hill, were all pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Toyota, 44-year-old Curtis Harrison, was taken to LSU Medical Center via helicopter, for treatment.

The driver and the passenger in the Chevrolet were not injured in the crash.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
