Texas Is an At-Fault State
In Texas, drivers involved in car accidents always include someone who is at-fault, meaning that there is an individual who caused the accident to occur. In the case above, two seperate accidents occurred, resulting in a three-vehicle wreck. Because of this, the insurance company in contact with those at-fault could face claims of wrongful death and personal injury. However, insurance companies are only looking out for their best interests.
The best way to make sure you are treated fairly after your car accident is to hire a lawyer who knows the law and who is willing to fight to make sure that you are treated fairly. An attorney can deal with insurance adjusters for you, negotiate settlements, and represent your best interests if a lawsuit is needed. If you or a loved one were involved in a car accident, immediately contact a legal expert to help you evaluate your options.
