Toddler Killed in Fatal Rollover Wreck

Lamb County, TX (12/12/2020) – A toddler was killed after being ejected from a vehicle during a rollover wreck.

The accident occurred around 7 p.m. Friday evening near the Lamb/Hockley County line. Two adults and two children were riding in a Lincoln Navigator on US 285 when the driver drifted to the right-hand shoulder and began to side skid. The vehicle then rolled multiple times. 

A 2-year-old passenger was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

An adult passenger and a 3-year-old passenger suffered serious injuries. 

The driver also suffered minor injuries.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
