Livingston, TX (6/16/2020) – A man is now hospitalized after being involved in a single-engine plane crash in Livingston Saturday evening.
The accident happened around 6:00 p.m. when the Beech Sierra airplane holding Tony and Robin Presley crashed just short of the runway at the Livingston Municipal Airport. They were experiencing engine problems as they were headed to DeRidder.
Tony Presley was flown by helicopter to Herman Hospital in the Woodlands, where he was being treated for head injuries.
Robin Presley was taken to a hospital in Livingston, where she has since been released.
Investigators from the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Board are currently investigating the incident.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
