Two 18-Wheelers Involved in Wreck, Backs Up I-35

Waco, TX (7/16/2020) – A crash involving two 18-wheelers closed down I-35 in Waco Wednesday morning.

The accident happened around 10:15 a.m. on I-35 and South 8th Street. An 18-wheeler struck the median barrier while going southbound and pushed the barrier into the northbound lanes where it hit another 18-wheeler.

No reports of injuries were delivered.

One 18-wheeler was left heavily damaged, and the northbound highway lanes were closed early Wednesday afternoon.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in ten days.
