Henderson County, TX (9/6/2020) – Two adults and three children were injured in a two-vehicle wreck on SH 31 early Sunday morning.
The accident happened just east of Rockhill Baptist Church around 3:20 a.m. According to Brownsboro Fire Rescue, a Nissan minivan carrying 2 adults and 3 children crashed into a disabled Nissan Titan pickup sitting on the shoulder of SH 31. The pickup was unoccupied when the wreck occurred.
The medical helicopter airlifted the child to Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. A UT Health ambulance took two adults and two children to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The cause of the crash is still unknown. Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
Pending the result of the investigation, it will be revealed what exactly was the cause of the accident. There could be a possibility that the driver remains at-fault for the accident. If that is the case, then the surviving family of those involved may be eligible to file personal injury claims.
