Houston, TX (1/29/2020) – A crash in southeast Houston left two children in critical condition and with two other children injured Tuesday afternoon.
The accident occurred around 3 p.m. near Cullen Boulevard. It was a single-vehicle crash into a tree that pinned a grandmother inside and injured four children in the car.
The driver, Grandmother Sherry Yvette Harris, was killed at the scene after being pinned in the collision.
Two of the four children were taken to Texas Children’s Hospital in critical condition. All the children are between 5 and 10 years old. None of the children were wearing seatbelts.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in ten days.
