Two Dead After Fatal Wreck in Titus County

Mount Pleasant, TX (6/15/2020) – Two people were killed after a fatal wreck in Titus County Friday night.

The accident happened around 9:20 p.m. on US 271 when a GMC Sierra truck headed south crossed the centerline and collided with a GMC Terrain headed north.

The driver of the Sierra, 82-year-old Rosaellen Johnson died at the scene.

The driver of the Terrain, 33-year-old Augustina Higuera was also killed at the scene.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in ten days.
