Fredericksburg, TX (7/25/2021) – Two people are dead and three people are injured after a head-on crash occurred Saturday night.
The accident happened on SH 16 around 9:12 p.m. between a pickup truck and a minivan. The pickup was headed southbound while the minivan was headed northbound.
The driver of the pickup and the front seat passenger of the minivan were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the minivan and two rear seat passengers in the minivan were transported via helicopter with unknown injuries.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led to the accident, and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
