Huntsville, TX (12/12/2020) – Two people are dead and three others were injured, including two children, after a head-on crash occurred Saturday evening.
The accident happened around 6 p.m. on Highway 190 near FM 2296. A Nissan SUV headed east on Highway 190 was passing another vehicle when it crashed head-on into a Chevy Suburban headed west.
The driver of the Nissan was pronounced dead at the scene.
The front passenger of the Suburban was also killed at the scene.
The driver of the Suburban was injured, and two child passengers under the age of 10 were taken to the hospital via helicopter with serious injuries.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led to the accident, and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
