Houston, TX (7/26/2021) – Two drivers are now dead after speeding crash Monday morning in Houston.
The accident happened on Westheimer near Chimney Rock. A Ferrari was speeding while headed westbound on Westheimer when it struck a median and lost control. The Ferrari then went into the eastbound lanes and struck a Hyundai Elantra.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 57-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ferrari, a 44-year-old man, was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led to the accident, and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
