Sour Lake, TX (8/10/2020) – Two drivers are now dead after being involved in a two-vehicle accident in Sour Lake Friday morning.
The accident happened along Highway 105 shortly after 11 a.m. when a reckless driver in the eastbound lanes struck another vehicle driven by a woman and held three young children.
The woman, 31-year-old Kristina Brown, was taken to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital, where she later died.
The driver of the other vehicle, identified as Rony Hernandez, was also killed in the wreck.
The children – a toddler, a 5-year-old, and a 6-year-old, were not injured.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
