Montgomery, TX (5/18/2020) – Two people were killed in a two-vehicle, head-on collision Friday in Montgomery.
The accident happened on FM 1097 around 5:00 p.m. when a man in a Nissan Titan veered over the center line and crashed head-on into a Mercury Mountaineer.
Two women in their 20s were in the Mountaineer. One was trapped inside the SUV and died at the scene. The other woman was taken to Conroe Regional Hospital in critical condition.
The man driving the Titan was also trapped in his truck and died at the scene.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
