Anderson County, Texas – A crash on US 287 in Anderson County resulted in the death of two individuals.
Officials from the Department of Public Safety confirmed that a crash involving a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2021 Ford F250 resulted in the deaths of both drivers.
According to DPS, the Ford F250 attempted to pass in a no-passing zone, leading to the crash when the F250 struck the Silverado head-on. The crash caused both vehicles to catch fire.
The driver of the Silverado has been identified as 23-year-old Austin Beard. 36-year-old Craig Morgan Warrick has been identified as the driver behind the wheel of the F250.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
